This page demonstrates how a photo taken with a geolocation enabled device such as an iPhone can contain embedded location data. This embedded location data can be used to map precisely where the photo was taken.
To use this form, simply take a photo with your iPhone and store it to a location you can access with your computer. Then simply upload the file using the below form. If the photo contains location data then a google map will be displayed including a marker for the location the photo was taken.
Note: Some devices (such as blackberries) can have location tagging disabled by default but this can be enabled.
